Alan Eisenberg hosted WRNJ's "The Alan Eisenberg Show."
The show quickly became the venue of choice for an amazing string
of whistle-blowers, politicos and celebrities who either call
in or appear at the station's studio. Alan's show can
now be heard on WRJN, 1400AM every Sunday from 8pm to 9pm CST. Alan's
past shows often drew print, TV and network radio media to the
station and also aired four times on the BBC and many times
in other cities across the nation.
When callers complained the about geese
and seagulls littering Racine County's golf courses, beaches and zoos, Racine
Mayor Jim Smith bolted into the studio to reveal an experimental program using a
90-pound Akita as a "goose dog," which prowls and shags the pesky birds
away. "Niko The Wonder Dog," pictured above, appeared on
Eisenberg's show Nov. 13 and was "interviewed" with Scott Schuett, his
handler at the Johnson Golf Course. Schuett announced that Niko, now
licensed by the Department of Natural Resources, has solved the problem.
Niko, who had his own microphone and woofed on cue, reportedly works for two
bones per day.
